ughs today's the last day of the so-called holidays and i find tt it has been the most unproductive break i've ever had.. blah.. it's like.. i feel so unmotivated.. do work for a very short stretch of time [if i even get any work done haha] and then its either radio/computer/piano/books/sth.. sigh. at least tmr's back to sch and hopefully i'll get back into my normal state haha
mm! got back frm the concert 1 hr ago.. was really good! tho i must say i didn't really like the 1st "third" of the performance.. all the goh toh chai songs.. hrms.. i guess i mite be a leetle bit biased cos he's the one who composed the syf set piece for choir this yr.. called "impressions".. which is spposed to sound like a gamelan orchestra therefore contains "dang deng ding dong dung" as the lyrics..
anyways.. then this person called nellie seng played.. she = hilarious.. took off the whole stand [for scores?] frm the grand piano n made a whole lot of noise.. and cos i was sitting in the 2nd row, cud see her grimace.. haha.. then she put it on the =floor=!! and then after tt held up this pen/pencil/sth and showed it to us n dumped it somewhere else too. hilarious:)
but her performance was awesome.. i guess her style's like really good.. you can see how expressive she is.. even better than my ex-piano tcher and that's saying sth.. i thot my ex-piano tcher was v zai already.. yeah. extremely moving. i really feel so pathetic when i watch pple like them play. *sigh*
4-piano and 6-piano pieces were really fun!:) tho i tink we shud have gone up to the circle seats for tt one.. cudn't really see anything frm 2nd row.. hais.. rather a pity.. but i only realised after the 1st piece started. win some lose some i guess. tho i tink i heard the 4-piano piece b4 in the last NAFA concert.. it was fun seeing mingjing n florrine n diane play anyhow:) and tt song was so familiar! mm.
but the best surprise was tt leeting was sitting nxt to me!:) i saw her when we were going to check out the circle seats but had no idea she wud be sitting there.. so cool:) and was really gd.. miss her lots. sigh.
anyhow i'm so glad sch's starting.. have been soo bored at home u can't imagine.. but at least i get to go out occasionally unlike lots of poor ppl who're stuck at home. okies i shall go sleep. tiring day.
